Liz Kinsley is a stay at home mom to six wonderful children. Her kids keep her very busy in Central Vermont. The rest of her time and energy is consumed with a strong passion for labor and delivery.
Liz has been blessed to attend and learn from many births. It is a joy for her to experience and assist couples in the transition to parenthood. She also exploited her own births to grow as a doula.
Liz has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Messiah College and received a birth doula certification from Childbirth International in 2007. Liz is also a Trained Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula. She received training in using the Rebozo from Gena Kirby. She has experience with sexual abuse victims and how it can affect their pregnancy, labor and delivery. She attended a two day conference "When Survivors Give Birth" with author and birth advocate Penny Simkin. In addition, she has learned Belly Binding and is currently studying to be a midwife assistant. She is certified in CPR, AED use and Neonatal Resuscitation. She is constantly expanding her knowledge and experience of childbirth. She may even take the leap from doula work to become a Labor and Delivery nurse and maybe even a midwife in the future.
Liz lives within 45 miles of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Rutland Regional Medical Center, Gifford Medical Center, and Central Vermont Medical Center. She adores supporting women and their partners through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. She would love to help you make your birth special!
Liz looks forward to hearing from you. Please contact Liz for more information.
